You are welcome at the Carman Family Resource Centre! Here are a few things to keep in mind.
As a general rule, we follow the Prairie Rose School Division calendar for holidays and closures; if there is no school in the division, the Centre is also closed.
This is also true for cancellations due to weather or road conditions; listen to the radio or check the school division website for cancellation notices.
At the Centre, parents are always responsible for their children; please respect our space and help us maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone:

Kit & Kaboodle

Always a favorite CFRC program, Kit & Kaboodle includes songs and rhymes, story time. and book sharing, with a craft and snack at each session, and a bit of time to play! This program will be held at the Centre. More Information
Puzzle Palooza!

The CFRC is happy to hold a Puzzle Palooza for families in our community!
Doing puzzles with your preschool children is more than just having fun: lots of great learning is happening, too! And it is a great way to “unplug” and take a break from our screens. Puzzle Palooza will be held on Tuesday, April 23 from 10:00 – 11:30am at the Carman United Church.

Little Hands in the Kitchen
Thursday, April 18 1:30 – 3:00 pm
We are so happy to bring back our popular Little Hands in the Kitchen program! This program introduces young children to the kitchen, with recipes and ingredients for simple meals or snacks that parents and children prepare together! Little Hands in the Kitchen is for parents/caregivers with their child aged 3 – 5 years (one-on-one fun!) There will be no child care available for younger siblings; please find alternate care. But… if you have two children in the age range, you can cook with both!
Little Hands will be held on Thursday, April 18 from 1:30 – 3:00pm in the kitchen at the Carman Mennonite Church. There is no cost to attend and all supplies are provided. But space is limited, and registration is required. Contact the Centre to register!

- Please remove outside footwear; you are welcome to bring along inside shoes or slippers.
- Be sure your child is only eating and drinking when seated at the table.
- Do not allow your child to run or climb in the Centre.
- Finally, all hot beverages must be in covered travel mugs for the children’s safety.
